oh, man if that's not an album title, DAMN!

gothstop will feature all black labels instead of white labels, and big hair.

pirate-step? "aarrrrrrrrrr" bwah-wawawawawawa. kick snare.

National Geographic put out a PHAT 3-record LP awhile back called 'Bird Noises' containing nothing but bird noises (featuring many different species). The best part is how the records are all floppy. I've been caning that album for years now... maybe it's time to take it to the next level, is the massive ready for birdstep? If you watch how birds walk around, you can see they already know how to groove to that isht.

I've always seen bauhaus as being one of my main inspirations in music looong before dubstep

weird was just enthusing to someone about bauhaus, and this track (check out hollow hills too, and everything else they've done, some is a bit cheese though) earlier today

dubstep community is obviously on the same wavelength as loads of strange collective conscioussness stuff goes down...

Mufasa-step is big in 2007 you heard it here first- essentially, samples of Mufasa laughing shortly before his death by Wilderbeast are looped with plenty of echo and distortion over the top of a drum pattern comprised entirely from variously pitched samples of his royal carcass hitting the dirt and his spleen rupturing. I will play all this while dressed as Rafiki the baboon, and will replace the same old tedious dj booth with a gigantic phallic rock under which the audience, like the filthy animals they are, will genuflect before my mixing skillz insit.

You've got to go out of your way not to conform these days. Within days of Mufasa Step blowing up I will denounce it as a load of balls and set up a Wolf from Gladiators Step community in my house. As soon as that becomes known of outside of my house I will give up on it and start singing operatically over the sound of one hand clapping.

i think this mufasastep is brilliant. it will probably spark a series of jungle remixes of "in the jungle" however.
