Does anyone who posts on here like "the mover"? the first time i heard any dubstep it really reminded me of his stuff from around '94 and some of the "cold rush records" releases (not so much the beats, their stuff was more 4 to the floor, but definitely a similar vibe). their motto was "music for huge space arenas" and i reckon that fits dubstep a treat!

The Movers' stuff is amazing. Dark as fuck. Frontal Sickness pt 1 & pt 2 on PCP are sick. All his records are for sale for at least 50 quid each on discogs. Marc Arcdipiane pretty much invented hardcore in the late eighties with "with we have arrived" under the name Mescalinium United . I think he holds the record for the most amounts of releases ever by an electronic\dance artist. Be warned though. He has even done shit with scooter. :o - cornball-hardrcore-rave

He makes some of the hugest-sounding buzzy tunes. Amazing stuff...

yeah those albums are still good listening even minus the nostalgia factor!

my personal favourite was "world's hardest mf" from the pcp compilation "phuture", fucking HUGE bass!

there were about 12 artists on the album and about 9 them were marc acardipane!
