london transport 'excuses'

faulty signals
(along with many other poor bastards i pay £100 a month for a travelcard to get to central london every week for work, and they still manage to get fuckin 'signal' problems every other day which means im late for work and standing on a packed platform with sweaty suit bastards.
out of all the equipment in the london underground, why does a fucking green and red indicator light seem to be the favourite excuse for the entire train system coming to a hault, year in year out. silly stnuc)

passenger falling ill at whatever station
(drivers- its in everyones best interest to drive to the next station as quick as u can, let the 'sick' person off to get to hospital, then drive the train to the next stop..whats the fuckin big deal.)

overcrowding
(this isnt an excuse for delays. this is what happens after a shit excuse)

lack of staff
(what an excuse for delays. do i give a fuck when i spend £100 a month on these lazy stnuc when all they do is strike with the support of their batty union. they get between £20-30K a year for workin some no-brainer job and they want more. FUCK OFF)

i had a drink at lunch and i really aint lookin forward to getting the train home

allow me this moment of public outcry

I had the shittest time gettin into town last weekend. What started as an hour train journey ended up taking over 2 1/2 hours.

All trains were ram jammed and hot as. Im hoping that they aint fucked up this weekend.

Ive started using the buses more...at least they're pretty regular and you get to see tings.

Cant get the bus to where i live though

i know im a leeds lad but when i go london-i allways here of people complaining about transport esp the underground

seems to me a quick way for them to make money for other projects!

they know people need it and its just plain ignorance to underfund and treat passengers the way they do!

for all the money people spend youd expect at least a place to sit!

:D

Heard the tune a while back but does this help describe the tube situation?

http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgur ... CcountryGB

And yes, it is a fucking long address isn't it. Found it while looking for Soviet imagery - funny old world, eh! Only been up to London once in the last year, and coincidentally the route we wanted to take was closed for repairs

took me 20 mins to go 1 stop on the tube (ham and city line) the other day due to 'Speed restrictions'

As far as i know there are no schools or hospitals on the train tracks so i have no clue as to why we had to crawl to the next station....... hate it with a passion

Luke - as a sweaty suit bastard I couldn't agree more.

Apparently wearing a suit condemns me entirely as another thread stated.

Oh well. At least I don't work for the Underground.

Off-off this topic - see you have Modus Op on your posts - ever pick up the T-Power Albuma The self evident truth of an intuitive mind and Police State (Prospects for Democracy and Synthesis) - sounds totally up its own arse now, but had some cool base effects....
