You what :o :o :o

I suggest you join this site. http://goldenerajungle.com/php-files/news.php
Ridiculous amount of good Jungle mixes in there.
Label wise V-Recordings, Metalheadz, Virus, Philly Blunt, Test, Chronic, Formation.

I don't know, pretty much anything you will find made before 1998 is classic (imo) after that you will have to look alot harder. But still some good stuff around. Creative Source had a good run in the noughties around 2001 they where on fire.

my advice would to obviously start as far back in time as you can then work your way forward.check a track called 'amen brother' it's a nice place to start.you know the break anyway.

May I suggest some pre-1995 Jazz-Step. Plenty on that site..
Also for some really good ragga stuff check out the R.A.W. (6Blocc) soundclash mixes on there..... IMO some of the best electronic music ever. They had pretty big basslines back then before being comprimised with a bunch of mid range bizz toward the late 90's and into the new millenium.

yes, for my shame i've only heard the odd bit at nights, or in mixes etc.

it passed me by due to my tender age and that i mainly listened to hip hop before dubstep, and didn't follow the jungle path....so to speak.

cheers for the links though, i'll be downloading hard this weekend..

I listened to too much of it for about two years straight and now I've gone off it a bit... Still one of the daddy genres for me tho

In terms of sets....

You can't go wrong with a bit of Dr S Gachet.
Don't let the name put you off, he's a don ;)

And just download anything with Hyper D on the mic.

I think the site address is www.goldenerajungle.com, and they have a ton of old mix tapes ripped to MP3. I have a few boxes scattered between my place and each of my parents' houses, need to encode them.
