No patches.

Download mp3directcut then install it. Download LAME and extract it into the same directory as mp3directcut. Then work out how to use it ;)

CD-Wave is a pretty good Windows tool for cutting up long mixes into seperate tracks. You can output the tracks as seperate files, or as a cuesheet.

When I used it alot for sets that needed to be broken up, I would use 2 cuesheets, one for the first half and another for the second half.

Or some cd-burning programs have a "split track" function, e.g. Nero, where you can just plonk in as many splits as you want on a timeline of the MP3 and these will show as tracks on the CD. You can cut and paste to stretch sets over multiple CDs

Nero has this, and its pretty handy. Also means that you don't actually chop the original MP3s in half/into bits.

Made by Ahead software I think?
