I am thinking of buying a M-Audio Axiom 25. I have found a second hand one, but the LIve 5 disk is missing. I can buy a brand new package for about $80 kiwi more.

I use Reason 3, is it really worth spending another $80 for the Lite version of Live 5???

I got that with my midi controller aswell... But i still haven't been bothered to register it because my production pc isn't hooked up to the net...

So for me, whos already quite happy with the sequencer i'm using, it's probably not worth it....

Just up to whether you'll use it or not... could be well worth it if you find that you love working in the ableton environment

Thats the thing. I really like Reason. I tried a cracked copy of Live and to tell the truth, I found it really confusing and messy. But I didn't really give it a big chance. I probably would of given up on Reason to, if it wasn't for the fact I paid for it.

I think Live is now on 7, would a Lite version of 5 be really out of date then???

THanks for your reply.

You can register lite for free when you get it with a midi controller tho ?
