Getting those choppy vocals so often heard in drum and bass-hows it done??

get vocals chop em up load the slices in a sampler then bash around on your midi keyboard until it sounds good

a tremolo type plug like the one in logic also works well.
You can set the amount of choppage without slicing up the sample

The tremolo effect sounds interesting, cool that ur a logic head-the exs24 seems quite limited, although i use it alot, it just doesnt seem like you can do as much with it as say the nnxt advanced sampler in reason-such as looping etc
any coolness that people may have overlooked to do with that thing?

the default patch in esx 24 is sick for subs

Map velocity to sample start and draw little notes with different velocities.
