We've been doing some Bloodied Blade t-shirt designs here at the NozL Headquarters recently, but we've being finding it tough to choose a particular favourite. So... we would like your input as to the preference of the design ideas. Feel free to put forward any more of your own ideas which you may have. (1 colour silk screen print btw)
The t-shirts will be available in the next couple of months to coincide with the next "Three Styles of Death" release in a month or two. The t-shirt will be available on the
www.nozl.co.uk site, as well as part of a discount package with the forthcoming record. (and they're going to be cheap as chips, so get on it

)
Here are the 11 initial idea designs: (The one with "Dubstep Warriors" or "Dubstep Assassins" writing on could be applied to whichever design was chosen, or not)
Like I said they are just general ideas so far. The images on the t-shirts aren't necessarily going to be used, thery are just giving you an idea of the type of imagery we like.
Basically Kung Fu images + Bloodied Blade writing maybe with "Dubstep Warriors" etc somewhere.

I like the 16:9 ratio of the images. Very cinematic.
The font feels inappropriate to the images. It feels like an early '90s gothic rock band to me.
Maybe this is what you're going for?

I too think the font is a bit meh and the images too square. I'd wear this though and would suggest you consider going to 2 colour as nothing suggests blood more than splatters of red.

have to agree with these gents...the font seems a bit plain...
edit...if you do make ones with the original bloodied blade on it, let me know...I'll buy one.

Yep I agree that the text has to be applied to the image more smoothly (I'm obviously not a designer :p)
But big up on the lone wolf and cub images. I'd buy one

Might not be the target audiance, but them t shirts are nasty. The text, as said before, is boring. The images are either extreamly geeky, not somthing you would want on a t shirt, or boring. IMO all 3.
Not saying the idea, of ninjas and blood and swords, is bad. But the products showen there are. I honestly thought this was an in-joke from the "other" forum.
sorry to be harsh, im only one person but i might represent a few.

maybe i should have been writing my critique like this:
@epithet: a t-shirt with a bloodied blade aaaand a writing with bloodied blade is, ehhh, a little bit cheesy.

If you're going bw, I think the images for #3 or #6 are best (def with "dubstep warriors", minus the quotes). The 2 color idea adding red is intriguing too tho...
