look at the CDJ800s, the CDJ200s as well...

the 800s if you really have to have vinyl emulation and the 200s if you want to play MP3s.

Though I do think the new 1000s/800s will play MP3s as well.

You could also get Serrato/Final Scratch if you already have turntables and a laptop / studio computer

I totally learned to dj cds on the cdj100... whicjh was kool. they aint 1000 but they do the job.

Ive got a pair of Numark Axis 8. They work well but are ultra fragile. Basically if they arent moving around they are fine. I played on a pair of 200's a couple of weeks ago and thought they were ok.
