Numark vs Vestax vs Technics vs Stanton

I'm getting rid of my TTX cause I can't stand the pitch inaccurancy anymore so I could use people opinions on the followings :
* TT500 : same specs as TTX without the pitch problem and the useless screen. My only problem with them is that they're 2x cheaper than the others and I'm afraid they'd go to the bin before their 5th birthday.
* Vestax PDX-3000 : they look great on all aspects except that they're digital and I'm afraid of digital on the long-range.
* Vestax PDX-2000 MK II : they look great on all aspects except and they ain't digital.
* Stanton ST-150 II : don't know much about Stantons. Never heard bad things about them. Nor good things. What are they up to?
* Technics SL-1210 : if I was only mixing dubstep and likes I'd most definitely take those but I can't cope with the -/+ 8%.

So clearly, I want something with a -/+ 20% accurate pitch that's gonna last forever or so. What you guys suggest?

Got the TT500s - being hammering them for a couple of years now - no signs of them falling over. The adjuster for raising the whole tone arm is too stiff, other than that, no complaints. Not sure why they are so cheap tbh.

Technics MK5G, 16% pitch range and will last longer than any of us! Why do you want such a high pitch though? Pushing any record past 4/6% and its just painful to listen to?! :?

I have to admit the only turntables I have owned are Gemini and Technics (clear winner there!) but there is definitely a damn good reason why Technics are still on top.

And come... Vestax..... Plastic Turntables...... No Thank You

Somebody here owns or tried the M5Gs? I'm reading contradictory things on other forums about the pitch being + or - accurate than the MK II.

The biggest mistake I have ever made in my life was choosing Vestax over 1210s. Despite how much joy my Vestax have given me.

Yeah I have them. Said the MK5G before but same thing haha! Ive played on an old set of M3D's and felt the pitch wasn't as accurate as on mine, however the difference in age between them was quite large I imagine so it could be put down to that.

On a whole though never ever had a problem with the Pitch at all... Just my ears!

I'll try the Technics whenever I can. Anyway, they're the only ones I trust to last for more than 20 years and that's what matters most.

Thomann is selling the M5GE for 625 EUR (~ 465 GBP). Any idea what's the difference with the M5G?

Horza, may I ask you why you bought those as you mentioned you don't care about high range pitch?

The PDX-2000's are probably the best decks ever made. I've had mine for 7 years and they are still holding up. (the main thing i worried about since technics 1200s are made like bricks)

yeah i was hoping to see something besides vestax bashing. i have always had technics myself, but i have played on plenty of different decks (something everyone should do), and in my not-so-humble opinion, the vestax PDX-2000 stands the test.

obviously i worry about the construction not being as sturdy as technics, but these things fucking ROCK! platter height (and not seeing the pitch dots) took a minute to get used to, but other than that...SOLID frickin decks. pleasure to play on. c'mon...reverse? that shit is fun. ultra pitch is also niftay (combine that with the pitch shift on a pioneer djm 500 or 600 and you have some fun possiblities on your hands). less skippage.

i won't debate the fact that technics are still the industry standard, but the pdx2000 is a damn good deck.
