can you name dubstep tunes that have around 85 or 170 bpm?
i'm looking for tunes that I can mix with drum and bass tunes easily. there are some halftempo tunes by dnb producers like amit or breakage which fit the tempo. i've also discovered that Pinch's "Pepper Spray" has 175bpm. now I need more, I hope you can help me. :)

i think one of the essentials of dubstep is the bpm

that and heavy bass are about the only 2 rules seems like

Here are a few ideas:
  • Klute's - "174 BPM" off his last album
  • Hive, Keaton, Echo & Gridlok - "Culture" off the Violence album, might be a little too busy for you
  • Check this Dj Vapour mix: Dj Vapour - "In To the 90s" (tracklist)

I think I have a song on vinyl what you'd be interested in, however I cant remember the name of it at all haha! I go off the label on the vinyl (colour, style, etc) instead of names haha!

When I get outta this cess-pit (work) I shall post the name of it in here! :)

Peace

check out some of the Lifted releases. i think theres a couple that drop into breaks and halfstep tempo in the middle of the respective tunes, also Fresh from bad company has a tune that also switches tempo halfway through. So if your quick of the mark you can work it to your advantage
