He is letting people download high quality mp3s of released Digital Mystikz, Loefah, Kode9, El-B, Skream tunes plus others from his blog for free.
I wonder if he asked the labels or artists.

seen...he explains himself in the comments section:
Here we go again. Look, the vinyl heads will buy the records anyway. These tracks are for the long-suffering fans oversees, or without turntables, who just want some hi-quality classics for their iPods. And no, I didn't get permission. MP3 blogs have been dishing-out unofficial 'free samples' for ages without hassle, but as soon as I share a few dubstep tunes, somebody starts getting grumpy, usually someone who isn't an artist/label. Big-up Thinking, my man knows where I'm at...

FFS! Yes big up Gutterbreaks. Oh no "home taping will kill music"! If your gonna take an not buy you weren't gonna buy anyway. If you do buy you will buy - this just spreads the word.
See the "soulseek" thread for a longer explanation of why this is not, IMHO, taking the piss.

Sharing loads of unreleased stuff, or leaving a link like that online permanently would be taking the piss. But he's not - and as he's given massive props to the artists, I really can't see a problem with this.
Big up Gutterbreakz!

Bigup gutter. I checked out these tracks and ive never head half of them before. And at the moment i dont feel like forking out cash to buy the vinyls when i listen to mp3's at home and in the car.
To me, what gutter has done here is made me realise who was doing really good stuff a few years ago who i wudent had known of if he dident post this up.
Thanks guts!!

Should have asked the artists I reckon or if it was to showcase previous efforts then put them in an old school mix or just post snippets. Gutter has set a dangerous precedent IMHO.

haha 'whitebait' - thats jokes. rate it
however, i strongly disagree with your claim. The precedent is as dangerous as people make it. Even if there arent enough people who just purely (selfishly) love the plastic, if people act with respect for the scene's infrastructure then there's no reason for it to be dangerous. Danger is what people make of it
What, other than a matter of implied social norms, differentiates an old school mix from a couple of full tracks? Especially when, as in this example, the mp3s do not include most of the tracks on the actual releases? Nor, in my opinion, necessarily the best ones.
mp3 blogging can give people access to music, and spread it to people who either cannot afford to purchase the vinyl (shipping, whatever), or would not choose to pay the steep prices straight up to listen to the music first off anyway... mp3s can give a route in, through which much exposure, and many paying customers, may come. I believe there to be very few people who would generally buy vinyl, but because they see a free mp3 which constitutes a fraction of the actual release, will not then buy the vinyl.
Before anyone replies, they should use the search function and properly think through their opinion, these threads can easily, and have, turned very very quickly into a mad dash to throw out an instinctive opinion, with little regard to the behemoth of nonsense the thread can then become

^exactly, just because it's Gutterbreakz doesn't mean it's alright to share other peoples music without permission and that's dangerous. We can't assume everyone will have such noble intentions or be able to exercise the restraint shown in selection. It's just common courtesy to ask and presumtuous to assume the answer will be yes.
