I'm curious to know if there is some step by step process of creating a granular sound without using a plugin like this one
http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1160.html ??
The reason i ask is because i can't seem to find this plugin anywhere...i can't even buy it... Are there any others out there that deal with granular synthesis?? I love the sound...i love the process of this type of sythesis...

It's part of the Nautilus bundle on their website.
Also try Grainz

(free)
or CrusherX

(reasonably expensive but was rather good when I tried it back in the day)
or get Reaktor (distinctly expensive but basically the daddy) and scour the user libraries - granular seems to be one of the things that Reaktor heads really go nuts for.

I would suggest getting a copy of reaktor5, there are many wierd and interesting granular synths available for it! And one of the built in granular fx is amazing it's called grainstates.
