/ / RUSKO (fabric / subsoldiers / tempa / dubpolice / 2ndrop)
a lot of the heads are excited about this one. rusko's one of the most exciting producers right now, putting out lots of really dub-roots influenced tracks as well as the crazy bangers. he's responsible for that tune that starts with the vocal ".. now, wake the fack up! " - which almost always garuntee's a rewind and makes the crowd go bananas. starting off as a "real musician" (heh heh) and producing full-on dub music, rusko has now turned to dubstep and is keeping a very busy schedule.
where a lot of people in the scene take dubstep very seriously, rusko is the first to admit that he doesn't. rusko keeps it fun, and cheeky even. he plays to the party and the dancefloor, with tight DJ skills and a crate of fresh fresh records garunteed to be pretty much all be hot-off-the-press (in not warm-off-the-press).
look out for his new mix CD for fabric with caspa, who he helps run the "dub police" label with, or check his music on myspace - http://www.myspace.com/ruskonfire
and filling out the night nicely with
/ / TAAL MALA (lighta! sound / sub-osc) full hour-and-a-half set straight before rusko. http://www.myspace.com/taalmala
/ / MICHAEL RED (lighta! sound) warming up the night, mixing up the flavours a bit. http://www.myspace.com/michael_red
/ / BIAS (dubstep.fm) on 3 decks, following the badman rusko.
/ / PRINCE SHO (royal platoon) on the mic / / EIGHTPRIME on the visuals
