Greetings from Athens.GR>>>

ImageImage

we're running a long standing(7yrs) dnb/beats night in Athens and since last April we promote steppers/dub-dubstep-dnb line ups with international guest DJs & MCs. At least one of the bi-monthly nights out of 3-4 we do every year concerns 'future dub' artists we bring together with a:formal crew.. We have called this particular concept Ital Soundz and last year on our first one we had PINCH for the dubstep set, a local legend Anna Mystic for dub and ourselves the d2(dark drummerz) on dnb with none other than Justyce MC from legendary MDZ/Blue Note days. It was a roadblock on the coolest Attic in Athens, Jazz Upstairs and we could only move all the way forward for Pt. II which takes place next week SAT 22/3. 200+ capacity, 'floating room' construction since they do Live Jazz things there and they have a very decent soundsystem too :D

For this one we got none other than LOEFAH himself, another local talent Mista Operator and ourselves with well known Stamina MC providing the deep & dirty dnb soundtrack. Good thing is that we managed to secure a 2-hour slot on Athens's coolest 'alternative' music record shop Vinyl Microstore from 3-5 GMT where Loefah will play 2hrs of DMZ influences whatever that is  >>>> >>>

So, if any of you is interested in checking this out you can find it here:

we're looking forward to have the man in Athens and yes we're SOOOO jealous looking at the wonders that were made in the DMZ 3rd bday... Was @ Mass back in the July 07' session and loved it every minute, need to come back for the next one, it's May time right? 1st week? anybody knows details?

Anyhow, thanks for reading all the above (lol) and looking forward to next weeks mash-up and that set will be a very good starting point>>>>>>

and a little treat from the shop.. I dare anybody to click this link and check the godly connection between dubstep and... greek orthodox priests!!!!

i know a gay electro rock band came to play their tunes.
this record shop plays the most obscure of music out there
it was good when loefah was throwing all these classix. the band members were shocked
