Seit mehreren Jahren feilt der Rumäne Cosmin Nicolae alias
TRG bereits an seiner eigenen Dubstep-Vision, aber erst dieses Jahr hat er sich endgültig ins Rampenlicht katapultiert.
TRGs Mission ist es, eine Alternative zum Halfstep-Sound zu bieten, und zwar mit der Hilfe von perkussiven, schwingenden 2step-Beats und einem Händchen für einprägsame Melodien. Sein wegweisender Stil hat ihm nun endlich auch die Aufmerksamkeit von Plattenfirmen in aller Welt eingebracht – alleine im ersten Quartal 2008 erschienen von ihm bereits fünf Singles auf Labels wie
Hotflush,
Hessle Audio,
Immerse und
Subway.
Heny G gilt als legitimer Herausforderer von
N-Type im Wettbewerb um den Titel des virtuosesten Dubstep-DJs. Er gehört zu „
Anti Social Entertainment“, einer Gruppe um die Produzenten
Quest und
Silkie, die sich die Verbreitung eines von Soul und House beeinflussten Dubstep-Stils auf die Fahne geschrieben haben. Seine Debüt-Platte „
Arena 1/Retro Love“ erscheint demnächst auf seinem eigenen Label „
Gangsta Boogie“.

its really worth it again to look into a long weekend trip to berlin, wont tell too much, but there will be more chances to hear a few exceptional dubstep artists on the same weekend.
+ its generally big partys from wednesday on, as thursday is a holiday here
