The scene in Scotland is constantly evolving and adapting and keeping this in mind there will be no residents at Street Knowledge so that local talents can be rotated as much as possible.

We're giving four DJ’s the chance to play in the brand new VIP Speakeasy Room at Street Knowledge. Impress all with your control of the decks as well as gaining that all important experience of playing to a hyped up crowd.

We have four 1 hour slots available and all you need to do is send in a 30 minute mix CD complete with some details about yourself to be in with a chance of playing.

With a room capacity of 120 there will be more than enough people to enjoy your set

For those who prefer to listen rather than spin the tracks then tables are available to be reserved in the VIP Speakeasy room for this event.

With table service, an exclusive drinks menu and specially selected DJ sets to listen to this is the perfect excuse to get a few mates together whether to celebrate end of term, a birthday or just because it's the bank holiday!

Tables take up to 15 people and will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Actually, Code Nine have been going for a good while.
Can't imagine it was deliberate, and it would have been quite easy not to know about Kode9 6 or 7 years ago

And are those pictures actually inside Cab Vol? I don't recognise any of the rooms - are there extra bits round the back or something?

Congratulations to NoFACE; the first winner of the VIP DnB mix competition.

I hope you'll all show your support in the Speakeasy room on the 24th May.

The other winners will be announced over the next few days.

This past year has seen NoFACE gain a reputation as one of Scotland’s top underground DJ’s.

Showcasing his diverse style at parties and clubs all over the country as well as producing the "Custom" show on Sub city Radio, which airs between 10 and 11pm every Friday, NoFACE is a busy man!

Ahh cool.

Looks like the sort of place you'd host an Eyes Wide Shut style illuminati meeting actually.
All long cowled robes and Redshape masks...

In a good way though!

With her mix just like all the other entrants. Photos are only asked for once they have won.
Besides girl-on-girl isn't really my thing :?

A little bio for you...

Born in Estiona but living in Edinburgh, Janika D started playing 4 years ago at local parties in her homeland before spreading her wings further a field to such places like Bulgaria, Sweeden, Budapest and Mauritius.

Janika has played alongside big names such as DJ Hype, Grooverider and Noisia. Street Knowledge on May 24th will be her Scottish DJing debut.

Congratulations to DJ Arco; the third winner of the VIP DnB mix competition.

Image

Arco has become a firm favourite amongst his comrades as THE DJ to get a party started, or indeed to keep it going in to the early morning hours. Despite all his house-party experience Arco has only played out to a club once before and so is sure to play a set not to be missed.

The fourth and final winner will be announced early next week.
