they pretty good at keeping everything in line..if u look young they gonna ask you for id in any case.. i can't see it being an easy place to get into if ur underage.
Last night some cheese ball of a dj was opening the night, i couldn't believe the music he was playing, and it was like he didn't give a shit that no one was dancing to his cheesy latina house / garage, like he was playing for himself and not for the crowd...but soon enough crisis took over and the dubstep began, and from that point the night was a good party.
To anyone who goes to plastic people, don't waste ur time going before 12. Around 12:30/1 is when they bring on the real shit

I guess you haven't heard of the emergence of House and Funky in UK urban music? Might want to have a read of this
http://blackdownsoundboy.blogspot.com/2 ... funky.html
For the record, his selection was really nice and appreciated by some. I don't think fwd will ever have the right kind of vibe for a funky rave, the likes you get at temple rooms and stuff, as pp is dark, with a moody atmosphere that suits darker, slower music. Funky is light, happy, bouncey and the contrast is a bit too apparent. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though, as im really enjoying the sound.
Still though, out to Sarah Soulja for showcasing the new sound at FWD. I find it proper fresh and enjoyable, and hope that DJs keep getting booked for the night. After all, the policy has always been to push UK urban music forward, not showcase one aspect of it (although this could easily be the case, with the popularity of dubstep nowadays).
