innit, regarding broken beat, i find i'm goin back and diggin stuff that i stupidly ignored, thinkin it was too 'jazzy' - at the time i was goin to Metalheadz, Movement, & Space (deep house club at bar rhumba) and Rephresh (rephlex records night at Sound Shaft) so it was
i mean, i was well into Jazzanova and stuff, but ignored things like People Records, Bitasweet, 2000black all the Goya stuff etc...dumb really when u think that Dego was behind some of these beats and he's one of my fave ever producers, i think i have more records by 4 hero and tek9 than any other artists...well apart from afx and autechre maybe!
now as im diggin more of 2562s and martyns beats i'm goin back and realising what i missed out on
really wish i'd checked out Co Op at plastic people b4 it stopped too, by the sounds of it, every bit as influential as FWD>> in its own way

didnt realise it had stopped.. was real good we used to go a lot, you shoulda come down with us mate! vibes were live in there, possibly some of the best crowds ive ever seen, tho it did turn too jazz vocal and i did spend most my time wishin it was fwd>>
all about cousin cockroach, son of scientist, afronaught, mark force and psyan
funny i used to mix this stuff up a lot with dubstep, its just a bit slow, but the rhythms are complex funk
