i hate this kind of attitude, you can't just expect people to instantly know what a tune is just because its well known to you, i think it puts people off asking what a tune is because some have the arrogance to laugh at them

I just like the way its called 'that guy'

calling a guy 'that' must have been pretty degrading in the start

sorry to be "that guy", but how is "that" degrading?

People have names don't they? If you was called 'that' would you be annoyed?

Would you rather be called 'that' or Badger?

i don't think it means "that guy" in a literal sense, just "that guy" as in the one thats nit picking or whatever at the time

yes but they aren't calling them just "that" they're "that [x]", which is a descriptor. it's like referring to "that chair" rather than just "that". you wouldn't just say sorry for being "guy" would you?

lol sorry for somehow turning a tune ID thread into a debate about semantics

Yeah true but, I'm just saying it as some people might be offended by being called ''that'' or ''it'' don't you think?

"that" is completely different to "it". i honestly don't know how you can be arguing against the usage of "that".... SMH
