hi peeps,

i'm playing garage/grime/dubstep since 99.... felt the grime since pulse x and am a closed dubstep head since the ghost/shelflife/tempa days.
i discovered this forum about a month ago & i'm feeling the vibes on here, so i thought i'd post up a few mixes to introduce my humble self...

you see, as i'm from germany and only play vinyl to this day (i'm buying a cd deck soon), theres no 'excloos's' in the mixes but anyway....

as i'm deeply in love with the sound & feel these are good mixes, i thought someone might like to listen anyhow.... 8)

i could post some grime or ukg mixes too, if any1's interested...

so choose your weapons  :

Hi to the forum - I think these tunes have been well enough represented to be honest but I'd be interested to hear the older garage/early dubstep tunes - started another thread about El-B tunes a while ago, but you seem like a good person to ask.

Big ups to the German massive!!

Nice! Will burn these for the upcoming car trip to loveparade. Hopefully it will show the other six in the car what they've been missing out on. :)

hi shonky, yeah your right... these are well represented, but i was more
like mabe all the peeps that are newish to the scene/forum or not from the uk, they might like to have a listen....

i can do a oldskool mix with early dubstep and el b tunes in a few days,
but in that case a lot of el-b's tunes would be a lot more garagey.
and i could easily post some old or new ukg mixes. i've got a lot of
garage/grime and garage&grime in 1 mixes waiting on my harddrive...!?

Big up yourself mate!

Man, I'm really feeling that sort of sound at the moment, love that dark garage sound. Bought what I could when it was about, but sadly most of it didn't seem to make it to Brighton - amazing how it got to Germany...lol. Wouldn't mind hearing some older garage mixes either to be honest.

If you got some of those mixes, post em up, cheers fella

k, i'll do a el-b/zed bias/steve gurley/j da flex/horsepower/big apple one, maybe with some zinc thrown in for good measure... give me some days to prepare a tracklist, ok.... friday!

lol, was hard work to get the records. a good friend of mine had a little ukg distribution running from '99 till early '05, he sorted me out a lot of tunes, also my credit card has gotten a beating in the last years. last but not least i used ebay & ebay uk quiet some times to get my hands on some oldskool stuff i wanted. it wasn't easy to get by, believe me....

my webspace is working to full capacity with those mixes on right now, and i want to keep them avalible for a short term. BUT the old garage & some grime mixes are also comming your way in the next days, promised...!

Well done on tracking all those toons down, looking forward to that - if only I could mix, had decks (rather than patchy old DECK!!), I'd try and return the favour. Good on you for that!! :D

SHONKY mate, i have not forget you, I pulled out my old dark garage riddims and sorted myself to do a oldskool dark ukg / dubstepski mix, but i have gone through some stinking trouble with my x girl and couldnt motivate myself for shit to do this mix, but it's comming! if you read this, hold tight...

in the meantime, i'm gonna put up some a bit older grime, dubstep/grime mixes from myself to shorten the waiting time....

sorry for the delay, i promised you mixes, but wasnt able to get my arse up....
