Record buying advice needed (DMZ001)

Hi, I got a mate that's offered to sell me his copy for £63, and thats after much haggling. I havn't had DMZ001 come my way yet but I understand its highly in demand.
I believe its only worth spending this much on a record if you like the tunes enough. "Twisup" is good + I think the rarity factor needs to be taken into consideration.
Is this a good investment?

If you really really want it then yes. You're unlikely to get it for any cheaper.

there's one on discogs for £70.
all depends on the condition i suppose
like stanton said, if you want it, buy it!

twisup's an ominous groundshaking doom steppa
chain ba is one of the finest mystikz bits ever
b is just nasty energy
don't bring the tunes into question, just the price

Highly unlikely they'll get a repress. Diana had the masters on her person on that fateful night in Paris (not the video with the Hilton Heiress I might add).

bwahahah ha that was cold stants! fackin' hilarious

the most i've paid for a tune is about 30 quid, dont think i could personally justify spending that amount on ANY vinyl. i spose if you're going to sell it on than thats a different matter.

the masters are gone, have returned to the earth, are no more. so unless they remaster it from scratch an repress it i very much doubt it, the whole idea of remastering and pressing up old tunes seems to me to be against the mystiks whole idea of pushing stuff

im sure they wud much rather press up brand new stuff

I can see (at sum point in the future) HTFR doing one of there shocking rip off "re-press" bootys tho

so if there are to be no represses then its a guaranteed £70 + in the bag until the end of its days so long as its kept in good condition. unless of course dubstep is to die a horrible horrible death and thus all prices of valuble vinyls to the genre plumet. probably shouldn't speak of such things.

hah ha yea i remember when they got fined for that. blatantly they'll end up doing some awful mash-up of twisup with ""TOUCH ME. AND THEN KISS ME TIL I GET MY SATISFACTION" or some kernkraft 400 shit

why not buy the 320s and cut it?
it ain't much to look at, just a white label.

why is it illegal?
you've bought the files legally. you're not distributing them to other people. you're making a copy (albeit in a different format) for your own use.
correct me if i'm wrong like.

I agree with juliun as cutting will only cost you half the price of buying an original, plus then who's going to know if you tell then you got it on white label

nah its not...
if you've bought an mp3, you can burn it to cd or cut it to dubplate a million times as long as you don't sell it or give it away
