Just listened to the new one for the first time last night and it seems ok. One or two really nice tracks but a bit of filler. Saw him play live once and it was atrocious, but saying that he had looooooads of technical problems.

hahaha.

Yeah I've been digging Jamie since the supercollider days and muddling gear.

I enjoy this more live motown style he's been shilling as well. The new album will be making old new again. At least its a style thats more true to R&B than most US R&B music.

WTF is it with funky British White fucks anyway? Is it because of their funky teeth that makes'em have so much soul?

He was really good the other night. His band were sick and he did 'a little bit more' on a techno loop flex, very good show.

"multiply" is one of the best albums of all time. period. anything that will be released after could never possibly be better.

"jim" is good but i am disappointed to hear less electronic expermentation in the music. the dude has an amazing voice and i typically do not enjoy "vocally" music, but i have to admit that i have listened to "jim" 5 times in the last few days.

lidell's live show is amazing, at least the one i witness about 3 years ago in Miami. singing, looped and layered beat boxing, synths and then rain - it was an awesome performance. i would love to seem him again, don't miss out if you have the chance to see him. he has a full band for this tour and it's supposed to be stellar.

I agree, Multiply brightened up that time in my life as much as Midnight Vultures by beck did years before - looking forward to this @ Clockwork later!

For some reason, for a while, I just couldn't listen to 'game for fools.'
I mean, it is a great song and all, but frankly, I never liked the lyrics. Bought me back emotions, that did not belong to me at all. They were emotions that I thought someone else was feeling towards someone else.
I know it doesn't make any sense, but musically ( actually, in every way ) I tend to tie up certain events, and however it is that I feel about those events, that turns out to be my feeling towards something. In this case, that one specific song. I once had an ex force me to listen to The Beatles ( i am a die-hard Stones fan ) and then someone I highly disliked started raving about them. It will be a loong time before I can listen to the beatles and not cringe.
But thats just me, and my brain.

Multiply is just a great album all around, can't think of a song that I don't like. I have caught myself only half listening to songs, in order to skip to the next, cause they are all so good.

The City-
Music Will not Last-

those two tracks.... <3
