buy a sequencer (cubase, logic, fruity loops anything)
buy some synths. Anything from $10,000 dollar hardware to free vsts. It's not what you use its how you use it.
lock yourself in your room, make music, eat.... and try not to go crazy

ok i think your missing the point. Of course a good track wont sound like the programs that are being used to make it-im not worried about my set-up, im more than happy with it, i was just interested so that when i listened to the tracks i knew what they were made on. sometimes i can guess sometimes not. Wanna know if my guesses are right lol
plus i guess it is a naughty question as everyone seems to be avoiding it abd posing another question lol oh well i right, it is a naughty question

haha i reckon thats a top quote!
ive heard a lot of dubstep where its proper bait that they used logic. dudes made no attempt to warp the drum sounds at all.. u can just tell haha..
everyone says logic is the best, ive grown to love reason 3 though

it really doesn't matter what you use man.
although i would recommend something slightly more advanced than a playstation or ejay.

haha, love the way in that interview he says he can't use email because having the internet connected fucked up his old machine!
man, I should do the same, spend far too much time talking shit on forums and not enough making beats!
