Tense Nervous House Music, Volume 2

Most of my mixes are reggae or dubstep, but I like to do the odd bit of house. And strangely, my infatuation with dubstep has led me straight back to house. Partly it's because the drop-space of dubstep really refreshes one's appetite for bumping, pulsing 4x4, partly because seeing Mala play just felt so much like a really great house set.
I did the first volume of Tense Nervous House Music last spring; this spring it's time for the follow-up, with some fairly upfront tunes this time. It's at
http://www.grievousangel.net/TenseNervo ... l2.mp3.zip.
Tracks are:
0:00 Dimensions 6: Living In the Sunshine (Ame Ohio Dub)
3:18 Dimensions 6: Living In the Sunshine (Ame Main Mix)
7:19 Nigel Hayes: Augustus (Ame remix)
13:08 Blaze: Lovelee Dae (Carl Craig’s 70 Degrees & Sunny mix)
14:40 Kirk Degiorgio presents Esoterik: Starwaves (Jimpster remix)
19:15 Spirit Catcher: Street Hawk
22:18 Booka Shade: Blue Rooms (Original Mix)
25:38 Audio Soul Project: Reality Check (Mix 2)
28:55 Layo & Bushwacka!: Life2Live (Jesse’s Stripper dub)
31:25 Terra Deva: Fresh Start (Derrick Carter’s All Hail The New Ugly Re-Dub)
33:25 Sharon Jones: Want to Need To (Trentemoller remix)
38:38 Terry Francis: Music Freak (Nathan Coles House Mix)
43:20 Spirit Catcher: Voo Doo Knight (Grievous Angel Edit)
47:25 Theo Parrish: Falling Up (Carl Craig Mix)
51:06 Trentemoller: Serenetti (Original Mix)
57:31 Trentemoller: Minimal Fox (Original Mix)
62:20 Dimensions 6: Living In the Sunshine (Ame Ohio Dub)
68:00 Ends
157.2Mb. 320K LAME-encoded mp3.
Starts and ends with some Ame deep goodness, goes a bit chunky, then a bit of slamming K-hole weirdness. Very dubby with lots of FX'n'edits in it.
Enjoy in the sunshine

Tracklist looks live, some bits I havent heard before should be exciting! And I suspect the programming to be lovely, looking forward to it
Falling up remix is an incredible tune. Anyone heard Carl Craig's remix of Beanfield - Tides? Too deep. And his recently released mix of Revelee is outrageous, i need too much vinyl for my paltry bank balance.

Matthew Dear, Ghostly/Spectral(label to check out, seriously!!), and basically that entire kru are pushing the envelope for music.
Also check out Perlon(label) and Playhouse(label) for all of your Micro Haus needs. And don't forget our good friends at Kompakt(label)... Good House music is like good sex. Once you find that spot that it puts you in, you tend to want to stay there.
You can't fake all that funk, baby.

Orac is the business as well. I only know of you and one other person who even know who the hell that is.

'kin 'ell, house heads on Dubstep Forum, wicked! There are dubstep heads on Faith (very pukka house board) as well...
Ame rock - saviours of house music. I'm a bit of a heretic about Rej - I like it but I think it's not as good as their remixes!
Carl Craig seems unable to put a foot wrong right now. I also love the Theo parrish stuff that's around at the moment, he's a
proper producer. But I still really like the sleazy stuff, hence Life2Live andMusi Freak on here.
Let me know what you think of the mix...

Definitely. Have been following Orac for a few years now since the first Bruno Pronsato 12". Their releases are consistently of such a high quality that Perlon-apart they are arguably the best imprint currently operating in that branch of techno, pushing even the likes of Boogizm, Telegraph/Logistic, Karat, Context and Musique Risquee into the shade.

I would be interested to know what name he releases as and whether he has put stuff out before.
