Been listening to a few of his sets recently, managed to find quite a few from him from the past couple of years.
He's got me right into my electro/bassline shit, theres a lot of shite out there but he plays some fucking sick tunes.
any of yous know people i can check out like him?
some links to his shit:

Starkeys another badman - got some set of his where he plays a quality remix of cockney thug, think its the first link:

dont get me wrong theres a few dodgy little tunes in their sets but everyones allowed to play a shitter here n there.

crookers is 2 producers from Italy
on a similar, check Detboi, Boy 8 Bit, Herve/Voodoo Chilli/Count of Monte Cristal (speed garage/bassline moniker), Duke Dumont, Fake Blood
and 1 specific track which everyone needs- Nifty- Nifty (basement jaxx production on atlantic jaxx)
my friend writes a respected blog on this front which is worth a look-
www.youcancallmepelski.com
I used to be very into electro/eclash housey stuff but like so much other stuff, it got saturated with bollocks remixes and on the fly productions which weren't worth it- still dig anything dubsided and that fidget sound

I like the Crookers stuff I've heard.
Two friends of mine just signed to Dubsided, and they're the ones who turned me on to the Crookers material. Check out Nadatrom (Dave Nada + Matt Nordstrom):
http://www.myspace.com/nadastrom. Also check their individual work, they're both linked from the Nadastrom page.

cool- top stuff

the nadastrom stuff is making waves over here in places
love the estelle remix
no doubt theyll be playing get familiar anytime soon if theyre now associated with switch et al- a good look
Crookers early stuff was the best- recently they been commisioned to do a lot of remixes, many of which are questionable in quality. Plus i personally thought the Knobbers EP was awful.

love crookers. here they are calling it ghetto tek or something like that. it's becoming fashionable now over here. there's a small time crew in geneva called born bjorg (acronym for that swedish tennis player). they people i know, lemme see if i can find their myspace...
anyway i think italians are wicked when it comes to new styles which are a bit off stream...
ah here it is :
http://www.bornbjorg.com/ you can even dl a mixtape from the page methinks...

See now I was gonna wade in and say I thought they were pretty shit, but I've only heard the Knobbers EP. What would you say is their best stuff (or should I just go on discogs and get the stuff that comes first?)

pretty much
Their best stuff in my opinion would be the Adam Sky We Are All Prostitutes remix, Dusty Kid The Cat remix, Love to Edit, gasolina remix is okay as well, and the salmon dance remix if you are on lsd.
Look @ the two mixes from the top post- this is older crookers stuff. THey blew up and got too much commission work which they dint spend enough time on..

it does seem a bit wierd to be discussing the 'finer merits' etc. of artists like crookers as if it were some classical composition if that is what you were lolling about- i get over analytical

And I think Bk Bk was 'lolll'-ing at thread starter calling Count/Herve bassline house.
