I was just on a forum, a general electronic music forum for a city near me, and it always seems like there are a lot of haters to Dubstep? Why? I'm interested to see what you guys think of all the hate towards dubstep? Personally it's the BOMB of course, coming from me....

In a sense that true...people say they have made a tune and it's "dubstep"
People are always gonna hate about something they only hear for the first time and don't experience it at big events ie FWD>> or DMZ
I hate on Britney Spears...I think her music is shit.

I feel like a fish in a tank saying that, no palce to hide, but its pretty true. Too much shite dubstep gets heard by people from outside the scene.

No, really. A lot of dubstep could be classified as "shit". Really.
There's also a lot of good stuff. But I understand the haterations.

I personally love the generalizations they throw out.... one guy said,"it's all ambient sleeping music." R U kidding? Ok some of it is....
then again, half the people on that forum still dress like ravers from 96, fucking candy kids...

This is a valid point. I still run into people who think it's all halfstep... and in the US "slowed down DnB"
If only folks could hear the breadth of what's out there I think you'd find many an uneducated ear to be turned...
but thems with their noses out of joint will never go away sadly.
