white noise

hy guys, im having some trouble generating that upcoming white noise, wich is almost on every toon, wich anounces the drop is coming,
i got some similar sound filtering some synth sound and adding some low rate lfo, but im shure still needs some more tweking...
any help will be great!
i hope nobody answers, " you just need to press the white noise botton"

What prog u using?
I've got a tone generator i can send u when i get home.. could sample that..
Reason has some "saturation" effects, along side noise gens..

they are referred to as "filter sweeps"
get some noise on one oscillator and a saw, sine or square wave on another...
assign a high pass or low pass filter
twist the knob and... Viola!

or juss assign the lfo to the waveform that looks like this "^" on a noisey osscilator n adjust the rate accordingly

Go further than just synths though, try record static, feedback, radio static, vhs tape noise, cassette tapes, over driving things etc. Synths are good for controlled/modulated sounds, but there are other, more interesting ways to do it. Try it and I promise you you'll like it better than vsti's!

but noise is often an optional oscillating wave form on a synth if i wanted white noise thats what i would do. add one LFO and adjust rate/frequency/phase accordingly to taste.
(i should point out i am unsure about when you say 'that sound that is used in every tune' i don't actually know what you mean)

i'm on a mac, it's Reaktor (that picture is under the hood of a basic oscillator) eveything i make is with reaktor (seriously everything, used it for a couple of years now best thing i ever bought)...The only limit is your own imagination with what synths/drum machines/sequencers you want to build, but be prepared to give up a good six months if you have no previous knowledge of DSP or Modular synthesis. maths and algebra is handy aswell. depends how deep you wanna dig for sound/sound design.
and it's far from basic, you can go deeper and build your own sound engine type stuff. right i'm gonna stop promoting it. i don't work for them either.

and yea i will try downloading some static sounds from freesoundproject...should make it more intresting.
ive been hearing good talk about reaktor, ive only used it twice to make multi band compresor, its wiked...
about the button thing , lol, yes it can be a good answer, when the topic has been disscuced for millons of times..
im still looking for the cokibass, and big tune buttons!

if u in logic theres a noise slider (not button) on the polysnyth...just add filter

man that pic with all the lines is not what music is about imo
It gave me a headache just trying to follow the lines for 1 min.
