Searchl1te (Part Time Suckers, Dubfront - Chicago) Around age six, Searchl1te (aka Kee - BassByThePound Crew) appropriated the family tape recorder. Re-using abandoned cassette tapes, he documented his random glossolalia, the sound of the mic rubbing on household objects, and interviews with his toddler brother about the state of the known universe. Enter the turntables, the breakbeat diaspora, and FM radio. No matter the tools or the medium, Searchl1te lays out fierce, cavernous, densely-layered, hauntingly beautiful, eclectic mixes and tunes. On the decks or live, Searchl1te bombs the sarcopha-beats, yard techno, and tech:freek biz. He is also the founder of Part Time Sucker Radio. He's been doing non-commercial radio for over a decade, most recently with WNUR 89.3 Fm Chicago (www.WNUR.org), Vocalo 89.5 Fm Chicago (www.Vocalo.org), www.Destroyer.net, www.Dnbradio.com, and www.Dubstep.Fm.

dj fflood (Transdub Massiv, Magic Milkcrates) is a dj, remixer, producer, activist and writer. Hailing from New York City and Kingston, Jamaica and now kickin it in Downtown Oakland, as a dj he has been musically transporting crowds with his intuitive, driving, and eclectic style for over 20 years now. From the sound clashes of Kingston, to the warehouses of New York City, to the clubs of Europe, the art houses of San Francisco, and the lounges and dancefloors of Oakland, his exceptional sense of selection and connection to the crowd has become his signature. He co-produced Transdub Massiv's debut future dub album, "Negril To Kingston City." which alongside mtfloyd features acts such as Meshell Ndegeocello, Ce'cile, Sizzla, Farenheit, Jovi Rockwell, Tami Chynn, Roots Underground and many more amazing talents from Jamaica, Europe and the US. He spins every Saturday at Kingman's Lucky Lounge in Oakland, California. Come though to hear the ffloodvibes!

You grow hair, it is just that you grow hair in places people aren't supposed to grow hair. And you are bald as a muthafucka on the one place you are supposed to have hair, your big ass melon head

also, you guys. I'm really excited on the dub tip because FLOOOD is here. If you haven't picked up the Transdub Massive record he put out a few years back, i can honestly say it's one of the most compelling american( he recorded it in jamaica with the classic lineup of good mcs ) dub records i've 'heard, and one of the only decent ones that never goes bad. so defiantely come and checck his vibe out upstairs!
