Thom Yorke's first solo long player is ok but I dont feel the wow factor. Dont get me wrong I adore Radiohead, one of my all time fav bands, but I was left thinking something is lacking from the album. Need a few more listens me thinks !!
Cant wait to hear some more Andy Stott, just purchased his very limited single the other day, lovely 2 track 10".
Hey mary, you playing "Darqwan - 'Rob One 7' (dub)" quality track
Just grabbed "mathheads, the most lethal dance EP" ....now I cant wait to hear his set...Drop The Lime seem like they are already Breezeblock veterans ..
Ive been listening to a lot of "Somatic Responses" lately. Your playing quite a few tracks from Sublight Records of late, you planning on doing a Sublight Records showcase....go on you know u wanna

if not then please Hymen Records ,... nudge nudge.
Rob xx
I cant freaking wait for this show.

I thought the thom yorke album was quite good. Completely lacks the depth of a radiohead lp, but still a thouroughly pleasurable listening experience.

I second that notion. Sublight have been moving with strength for a while now and Hecate and all at Hymen have put out some of the greatest pieces of aggressive expermental vinyl in the last decade.
Both labels truly worthy of some BBlock love.

^^ nice one, someone else who agrees with me .. lol, cheers Twenty3.
Maryanne, this was in my opinion a fucking awesome show.
Both Drop The Lime & Mathhead were inspirational ... fat fat fat basslines, dub-edit break madness.
So many stand-out tracks from the show, where do I start.. might aswell just cnpaste the full tracklist..
standout tracks 4 me :
Sin and Muffler - 'Bad Bwoy Sound' (Dubplate)
Asbo Productions - 'Untitled' (Dubplate)
Andy Stott - 'Edyocat' (Modern Love)
Mr Slash feat Kids In Da Hood - 'Kidset' (Dubplate)
Darqwan - 'Rob One 7' (Dubplate)
Enduser - 'Hidden Wrath' (Hymen)
Somatic Responses - ' Split ' (Sublight)
Isnt Thom Yorkes 'Untitled' track called 'Skip Divided'
The tracklisting needs updating still, no Pendle Coven in there ... its the track after Yorke's right ??? - "FK Substance" ... loving the high hats n snares.
Cant wait for the FWD night showcase in a few weeks ...
get hyman and sublight on maryanne ... u know u wanna .. pretty pls.
more shows like this one ... the content was perfect !! back of the net stuff !!
