So i work on reason and make 98 percent of my patches from scratch
then i DL'd the massive demo .. it is a great instrument only..
its like anything coming out of it sounds good
its way too easy, esp with the presets
anybody else dislike massive for this reason?

make shit from scratch !
yeah it has nice sounds, and the filters are nice and easy to use, but its still just a subtractive synth bro... tis no cheat tho, great fun... don't see how getting good sounds out of it would make me dislike it lol

I dont use massive,
but this is how I interpret your post...
"This synth is soo sick, in fact it's sooo good, it sucks!"

For real.. Mad posts and threads about massive in general. I don't use it personally, Especially if alot of other people are. Plenty of other good soft synths out there.

nah i dont either, ive had a quick bash on the demo, i like the lay out an that, but i feel slightly swamped at the moment as ive not had my vst host for long lol and ive been buying music tech mag and computer music every month.
i bought the computer music special fast guide to synthesis and theres a load of freeware stuff on there ive just started using, and like i say with all the stuff that comes on them disks i sometimes feel swamped by it, but enjoying learning tho

If you don't like a synth because it's 'easy', then you're probably focusing on the wrong aspects of making music. What, what?
