something bout that makes me feel wrong. They look like forearms or something- proper butch pigs (pun intended) What a waste of ink/tattoo, though I like the one with wings on the site.

Dunno about those ones. Look real, but there have been others that are real.

i dont think the world will run out of ink so i aint too bothered bout that

those links are to 2 dif artists pics doing diff stuff in dif places etc..
i find it quite interesting how it kind of generates a wierd feelin in people to see a pig tattooed (kinda of a "ah poor bugger, evil tattoo-man") yet we use em for food and peep quite happily munch down on a bacon roll

I Just find it real wierd as a practise as there is little to no logic behind it. It's not like the pig is gonna pay you and seems a bit of a meaningless pursuit.

i think it's a great idea personally. would you say art is a "meaningless persuit"?
Wim claims it's ‘Because they grow fast and they are so much better to tattoo than fish.’
lol at tattoing fish though

some of it definately

. I like tattoo art, but its almost as if a tattoo is automatically a thing associated with humans. I always think a tattoo should be full of meaning for the individual- why I like the "flying pig" tattoo, but not jus a random tattoo on a pig.

yeah i love the wings one too, it actually has a point. i get what you mean about some of the others, they don't seem to be saying anything other than "i can tattoo a pig"

NO YOU CAN'T solely cos the guy doing the tattoos is also a veggie...
It's not about eating meat though tbh, or harming the animals. Its about (f)art.

I find it quite funny.
bit wierd
how do they keep the pig still? reakon they knocks it out?
do you think the pigs compare tats? coz that one with the wings must be thinking one of two things....
'I have the best fucking tat out the lot so shut ya mouth'
or
'ha, ha, ha, you think your so funny don't you, oh you witty witty humans, wings...on a pig.....pricks.'

it says in the article about it that they sedate them. which i guess is slightly cruel in that animals get all confused before and after sedation
