I would like to say thanks for all of your hard work on making the world a bit smaller... I feel it is a great gift to give. Allowing this many people a place to connect and share about a common thought.
I dont know how seckle does it. that guy is on it. all the time with a wise and positive thought or answer.

thanks guys. must be said though, that dubway's been shouldering the mounting costs of running this site, so respect goes out to him for making this a free resource for all of us to use for 3 years straight. you wouldn't believe how large this site's traffic has become.

I was just thinking today about the fact that the site is free.
Many things come to mind. One I know what it means to care and work hard without the thought of money. Two there are alot of people myself included that use this site to advertise tunes for sale nights ect. Yes I know we all know this. What I am thinking out loud is.... is it right to not pay for this?
I have only ever been a member of two other forums in the past. A local one and The Saul Williams site. (which was loaded with amazing poetry and mass amounts of shit talking) ;( Both of these were free. I assume that is the normal standard for forums.
Perhaps there could be a donation link somewhere on the site and then those whom would like to contribute could.
I dunno just my thoughts...

add 'verify' column into copied users table,
send to all users email by some mass email sender with a link to script with a 'user number' value.
Script needs to change 'verify' value.
Wait a month, anounce this on forum too, and then delete all users with 0,
backup new users from main table
replace tables with new users add
....and your dream will come true
its not a tutorial, but idea borned few minutes ago. For shure there is a way to do it.
