I've never really been into Techno, but recently I've been getting quite a bit of taste for it....
I'm wanting to find some mixes, but because of me having such a negative attitude to it in the past, I don't know what the hell I'm looking for.

If any can give me any pointers, it'd be nicely nicely!

Carl Craig might be also interesting and projects like 69, oldest music by Dave Angel, and Basic Channel's related labels. :?

kinda depends upon what sounds are really grabbing you. techno gets pretty damn diverse. do you like hard stuff, minimal stuff, dubby stuff, funky stuff? there is a pretty wide range, and it's hard to know what to recommend without first knowing a bit about your tastes. :)

he's been one of my favorite techno/electro/dnb dj's for a minute! check out his mixes, there's more than one page on there, there's even some dubstep stuff... but this guy usually has killer selection. hope you dig it

My choice?

Neil Landstrumm, Cristian Vogel, Dave Tarrida, Tobias Schmidt, Zen Paradox.

Though I guess calling them "techno" these days is a bit silly.

If you can find a copy of the old Derrick May - Mayday Mix cd from years ago, its top shit.

some other faves:

Dan Bell (uncompromising, the real deal), Robert Armani (ditto), Robert Hood, Scan 7, Jay Denham, Octave One, Kosmik Kommando/Mike Dred, Imminent Starvation at his most industrial techno strengths, and... and... lots more.

yes it seems that the techno has been really changed since the time then. Also might check mixes by Laurent Garnier and Mr.C on X - mix series by K7, all the mixes are mostly classics, but be sure find those two
