Is out on friday, kidulthood was pretty cheesy but for some reason i loved it, i think its the whole london vibe involved in it that i love so much, the positive sides obviously not the negative.

Anyway the trailer is up....

I think it just glorifies violence to people who take it seriously, which is b=never good, already enough at the moment. But thats just my view

and I'm going to watch it still

i hear people say stuff like that and im never that convinced. endless films have violence in on much higher levels than this.
to most, for whatever reason, on screen violence is entertainment, not encouragement or glorification.
i know its not exactly cutting edge documentary stuff but it deals with shit alot of people can relate to...especially with the way things are with gun and knife crime right now. saying that, im not really stcking up for the film.
think it will be an 'average, at best' film that all the 12-16 year olds will be feeling the most. if its as serious as they say it will be then add another 4 or 5 years for the older people who used to be like that.

yeah but the violence in the films is quite realistic, set in realistic places and the characters are pretty realistic as well. and the 12-16 thing kind of proves my point, kids in that age group are pretty impressionable and they're the ones who feel they need to prove themselves. I'm not trying to put the film down because I'm going to watch it anyway

yeah i dunno still- i reckon people at that age are much more influenced by the things they see in real life rather than what they watch on tv/films. people 'find' themselves after secondary school usually.
doubt ill go all the way to the cinema to watch this though. knock off nigel

Danny Dyer winds me up a little! he puts on the whole football factory act all the time, but he shit his pants wen he had to go russia to report on the real football firms over there.

Hasnt really impressed me looking at the trailers, if only something on the same level as City of God was created for London, would be grizzle.
