FWD @ The End - Post event comments

Let me start with an utterly justified, supersized 'big up' to soulja and all the FWD gang. The End represented a monumental leap forward for FWD the clubnight and dubstep itself.

I can honestly say this was one of the best nights in a club i have ever spent.

I think i must have shed at least 1/2 stone through my constant dancing. Not to mention about 10 quid out my pockets. But I just couldn't stop. Quality throughout. The main room / lounge dilemma was the perfect one to be confounded with. El-b killed it.

More tomorrow. I hope everyone had as good a time as i did. I'm wrecked. Bring on FWD Fridays.

Hmmm. Dunno what others thought but...I could hear the beats...but I couldn't feel the bass, def not the chest plate pressure I'm used to.

Maybe I been spoiled by the DMZ system and years of Shaka but I didnt reckon the rig was up to it. Maybe Mystikz wil get it rattlling.

Still good to put some faces to names and the vibe inside was brilliant and I dont think I really left the floor other than to refuel and chat to a few ppl.

Tired - maybe more later!!!

Though the bass wasn't as intense as at Plasticpeople, I thought it was a wicked night. Pretty much everyone I hear absolutely murdered their set, 'specially Digi Mystikz, Tubby and Kode9.

One of the best nights I have ever been to full stop. So many incredible vibes and the system was banging the chessle plate! My ears didn't suffer behind the ear plugs.

Big up everyone that said hi hahaaha so many new faces there aswell.

Thanks to those responsable in getting me in; Luke Envoy, Amy and Sarah. I'm so glad I came to this one.

History has been made, FWD on FRIDAYS!!!!!

A huge night, every DJ brought something to the table.

N-Type smashed it
Plastician smashed it
Hatcha recked it, forgot how many rewinds some of his tunes got.

Blipstream was tune of the night for me.

Along with that remix of the Judgement.

Was a sick night, perfect mix of dubstep and grime. Riko Dan over Yunx Image
Saw from Genius onwards, didnt venture into the other room, no real reason though. Made a new convert, skanked and skanked and skanked.

Tune of the night- Coki -All of a Sudden
Tune of the week- Coki -All of a Sudden
Tune of the month- Coki- All of a Sudden
Tune of the year- Coki- All of a Sudden
Tune of my life- Coki- All of a Sudden.

I kept heavily bumping into people because of them.

It was a heavy night...I wasn't really feeling it/in the mood until about 3 or 4 (not sure why, nothing to do with the music really, just me I guess) but the graveyard experience really switched things round. 4am mystikz set really lifted me, they were stunning as always but Kode 9 absolutely smashed it, set of the night (for me!). That flowdan bonkers grime tune right at the end!

I love that point in a rave when its dub zombie, eyes down business, strobes going off at mad intervals and the crowd are just locked into the groove.

The system couldn't test Plastic People or DMZ really, but it didn't stop me having a wicked night. A massive sucess for FWD and the music generally!

Great night. Well worth the tener. Youngsta was amazing: logical progression, ultra precise mixes and heavy, heavy tunes - Last tune must be "It's Yours" sounds like Loefas' doing, well that's my guess. Hatcha delivered with the usual precision. The oldschool lounge was .
I'd got up at 6, so I pulled out before Digital Mystikz & Kode 9.

Deapoh - you're right. The strobe and flashing lights were a bloody distraction. Deff prefere the pure darkness of Plastic People & DMZ.

The sound system was a bit "thin". During Hatcha's set it was quiet. It got louder later on, but non of that pressure that hits you in the chest and you feel like you can hardly breath when "Mud" comes on.

Anyway, lots of noize & love for the Forward crew for keeping it going all these years. The Friday nights at Plastic People are gonna be remmed!
