Killer :!: Vol. 1; Killer also :!: Richard H. Kirk was a large and still is a large influence on my musical taste; I own everything Cabaret Voltaire made as well as his solo works. There is no question on how much DUB has influenced his music.

sorry I have to disagree it's incredibly cheesy. I bought it on the basis that I've liked all of the previous sandoz stuff I've bought and I liked the other Sandoz in dub one too but those trumpets make me think Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine and that ruins it.

there is definately too much hype over this, given his previous work.
however, its unique in the way kirk fuses hints of electro into the dub sound, its quite hard in terms of the electronica he's incorporated too. at least he's doing something entirely different compared to most dub that is of a similar vein, i.e the minimal nature of deadbeat, rhythm and sound (who i absolutely love).

it's different, and not bad to put on with yer mates around for a smoke or bbq in the summer 8)
