this kind of post belongs here imo --> Image

nothing ever dies off....it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks or how popular it is...

if your mates don't like it then big deal...

most of my mates are into all sorts of bad music

Dubstep wont die, it'll just evolve.

funny they should say that, if you have to pick one that could possibly be accused of 'dying off' it'd defo be dnb.

Dubstep has so many tangents it can go off in, so much opportunity for experimentation, don't think it'll be getting stale any time soon (although it might get more difficult to pick out interesting sounds from amongst the standard stuff, if that's what you're after...)

Every genre dies off, but then again, every genre has its peak. People might think Frank Sinatra's kind of music died off but it hasn't as people will still follow it. That post does belong somewhere like Emo Corner as normally this thread would be created to circulate stress.

hip hop is over 30 years old. they've been saying it's dead for over 10 years, but people still buy it, follow it, perform it.

this music is nearly 10 years old and its still going. arguably, stronger than ever.

follow the music because you like it, not because your mates think it's shit or amazing.

All music has already come to an end - dubstep just hasn't noticed.
