A human being is part of the whole, called by us "universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences his thoughts and feeling as something separate from the rest -- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal decisions and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
- - Albert Einstein
Breathe IN love, light and gratitude...it infuses every cell and system in my body, it enters simultaneously from the base of my spine and through my crown, converging in my heart, where it percolates until it boils over...then,
Breathe OUT love, light and gratitude...into Mother earth, out to Father Sky, and into the hearts and minds of every living thing...friend and foe...experiencing the space in me and around me being conditioned by the love-light-gratitude as a gift from the I AM Presence.

this may be true, but then they go saying that they could prove to be therapeutic for "terminally ill" patients. fuck that. we need the healthy people to take these. legalize em.

As long as I've been a teenager, I've wanted to do mushrooms but never been able to get any

(whats that about, I live in SW London ¬_¬)

i dont think its very expensive. i got some in essex once for about a fiver and there was enough for 3 people to go ballistics. saw a whole magic circus come alive that night. also made the mistake of eating them fresh. had a bad tummy ache and some nasty bowel movement the next day. have alternatively tried them in an omelette, in spaghetti sauce and as tea which was much much nicer. although i am not so much a shroom fan anymore. makes me a bit paranoid when i'm in a crowd.

I know when they banned them over here, there was an outcry from people who suffer from cluster headaches. Its meant to be one of the worst pains imaginable and according to those who took mushrooms it completely got rid of the agony.

Mushrooms are one of the only drugs I've done where I have felt as if I've learnt something from doing them.

Yeah, they're cool until you're insistently invited by The Mushroom Queen, in all her glory, to accomodate the fungal network and you try to decline. Still dunno whether I succeeded ...
Or you take 'em every day for 2 weeks and end up weeping inconsolably.
Or, as a mate did, take 'em once and awaken a year later in a psych ward after shock therapy.
Careful.

I did them about three times a week when they were legal and found that I was very content. I probably suffered some sort of haemorrhaging from laughing too much but apart from that I felt fine.
