I saw something weird

On Friday night, I was driving home from a mate's house. It was about half three when I got to my road, I indicated right, ready to turn into my little close bit where my parking space is. I looked up and above one of the houses over the road, there was a weird orange light, hovering. I stopped my car and just sat there looking at it. It was the same sort of orange colour as a streetlight (but it wasn't a streetlight!), brighter in the middle and dimmer towards the edges. I couldn't hear any engine noise, or see any of those blinking lights that you get on helicopters and planes, so I didn't know what the fuck it was. It moved constantly to the right, and upwards slightly, then just disappeared.
It proper weirded me out. I phoned my mate as soon as I got in just to tell someone, my heart was racing. The rational side of me says that there must be an explanation for what I saw, I was thinking it could've been a hot air balloon and I was just seeing the flames or something, but the other side of me says there was no way it was anything I've seen before. Very strange indeed.
Anyone else seen weird shit in their past? Anyone in Leeds see anything around 3:30 on Saturday morning?

lol thank you old chap, that's splendid! Yeah, I've felt like a right tosser talking to my mates about it but it was fucking weird.

Hmmm, that sounds familiar actually...
Remember one night in Spain. I was at a lookout point one night with my sister and a couple of spanish friends. Just for the record, we weren't drunk or stoned. Suddenly out of nowhere, totally soundless, came some orange lights flying in the sky. It was moving in really weird patterns, sort of circultating round themselves, like a group of orange lights. Between the lights, there were a weak, but noticable outline or something, like a black shade. Hard to describe... Anyway, it was moving around in the sky as if it was trying to form itself or something and then it moved away towards the sea for 2 seconds and here's the weird part... We saw it move away, but instead of watching it move slowly toward the horizon, it was just gone. No sound or no fading away. Just bright light and then nothing.
We just stood there and stared, didn't know what to say or to think. All we knew was that it wasn't fireworks, birds, balloons, airplanes, lightning etc... Was well weird.

It sounds like one time I was in my room at around 3 in the morning and i saw something odd floating outsde, it was a strange reddish/orangey colour, that freaked me out. I called my brother, who was living about 20 minutes away from me at the time, he told me he saw it too but he thought nothing of it.
Though I guess it was reassuring to know someone else saw it.

Yeah too right!!! I wish someone else had seen it but alas, it wasn't to be.

lol that's fiendishly clever
as it happens someone at work was saying that their daughter, and a friend of hers, saw the same "UFO" at the same time as each other over the weekend. would be interesting to know whether they are those hoaxes by ID4, but the fact that it's not on 4th July which was their launch date possibly suggests otherwise

It wasn't one of thos glow stick rings, that's for sure.

I saw something flying in the sky whilst blazing suttin fat in the mini park a few years back. I put it down to the weed cause the moon was red aswell.
But, the other day my bredrin was talking bout something he saw a few years ago.. it was red.. and stationary, and then it just went WHOOSH.. n disappeared... Star Trek style.
He saw the same thing as me, it sounds ridiculous and i really cant explain it.
