past 6 months in term of quality & quantity of releases i so say.

already i reckon i've bagged more killer tunes this year compared with last year.

TRG, 2562, Martyn, Benga, Ital Tek, Joker, 7even recordings loads more could mention.

obviously its a matter of taste. But i think theres been solid stream of releases on all styles

an there's still lots of shit to look forward to

dubstep aint fading wake up an smell the greenery, its gettin better imo :!:

and in terms of quality's... quantity..
this year and the next I think will be chock full of good tunage across the styles.. as a pure dnb head I am more interested in dubstep than ever and that is only going upwards rather than the opposite in direct contrast with dnb where I am still knees deep in it but for a specific 5-10 producers output and that's it. With dubstep I still discover new thigngs from people I'd never knew before...

onwards and upwards

I think people have been needing something new. I've been a big dnb head for a long time too and its really all about good music. you've got well made funky-azz tunes here using the sound system like Reggae does. W/ dnb influence, reggae, two/step-garage, hip hop, soul, funk, jazz...

I'd like to see some ninja-kung-fu dubstep, you know ? epic sounding shoalin flutes or something like this. ninja scroll, ghost in the shell.

I need more really dubbed out reggae style dubstep w/ out full vocals. the Mc needs room to breathe.

it's been growing and growing over the last two-plus years here in tx, specifically houston, austin, and dallas. we have two dubstep weeklies here in austin, and both are well-attended. the shocker has been the onslaught of good producers from my backyard. tons of quality tunes.

i thing its getting shity to many wack influences coming into play ie disco, house, drum & bass. if i wanna listen to theses of styles of music than i would wanna listen to the real thing not some bait house dubstep fusion or any other shit fusions for that matter. ive even heard a dubstep tune with the lloyds bank theme music sampled from the advert HOW SHIT IS THAT

"where has the DUB gone in dubstep" anyone know?

todays dubstep ravers go to a rave to hear dirty, nitty gritty dubstep....dubstep has been progressing for ages now, 'dub'step is now turnin into a whole different style to what it is now....
