Cos if mr 9 is listening to it now, gauranteed it'll be HUGE in 6 months time...

Saw kode playin the other week, set was waeoaoh unbelievable. All the local DJs were trying to peek at the labels on the records, true dubplate culture!

That interview with him was so engaging I've listened to it already about four times in the last week.

I'm with Badga Tek, definitely a sucker for critical discourse, especially when I'm all up on the lsd.

As far as Kode 9 goes, I see what he's saying about Ballard stories definitely being a great catalyst for music making, but I just don't hear it in Kode 9's music and I've tried to. Where does the influence actually influence the music? Or is it just that subtle and reinstated?
Dubstep or minimal techno I do see as more explicit examples of Ballardian themes than any other music, perhaps because of their way of dealing with space between notes.

And yeah its hardly news but I'm sure people have forgotten, especially since the main site's not been updated in well over a year

Plus, its an important collection of articles I reckon. And it makes you realise that this brilliant mass of music-based discourse which has taken form on internet forums and blogs could and, in many cases, surely will, be lost forever once these sites cease to exist.
