Saw him play a couple of weeks ago, it was cool but I expected a lot more...

With 4 totally hyped up Mc's on stage he played a crunky sound with a lot of "put yo' hands in the air", "i say dj you say shadow" full of gunshot sounds over it.
At some point he also played some classics from Wu-Tang and others...
He's coming back in 2 months, hope he also plays some Endtroducing, Private Press tracks instead of 2 hours of Hyphy... "the new Bay Area sound" (words from him).

yeah i have hear many a people are dissapointed in his latest movement towards backing hyphy...to be honest i really havent been that impressed with any show of his that i have seen.he is always technically superior, but every time but once it has been quite boring.the only time that was real interesting was when he had a vj and another guy up on the stage...besides that i remember nothing, got ripped before, during and after the show.
i probabbly wont go see him if he comes back here.

I have seen Shadow some years ago... well seen, actually I didn't notice when he started, as it sounded exactly like the intermezzo music they put on festivals between two acts.

Saw him at Sónar in Barcelona.
Was disappointed, even though I also like Hiphy stuff and Keak Da Sneak, who was Mcing. It seems that everyone got too much into a "I'm a hype this techno crowd" state of mind and there was a lot of shouting and not much else. He did show off some Endtroducing pieces on the MPC, after saying "I don´t really want to do this, but I guess you DO want me to do this".
By the way, sound quality is usually great at Sonar, but this time it was quite a mess.
