So, after about a year or tinkering away on my new laptop set up, I've finally got round to uploading some tunes.

I'll admit they don't sound too hot after myspace's shitty compression (any ideas how to fix that?), and they're unmastered, but you get the idea!
I'd very much appreciate some feedback, as I'm always looking to better my sound and technique.
Enjoy.

Yeah I uploaded soem tunes today and noticed the terrible compression they are using these days... but even so on yours it doesnt show that much....
Your ideas and leveling even on these two tunes up are pretty damn good.
Keep this up would love to hear more.
Peace.

Nice wan Al, been looking forward to hearing some stuff off ya!
Sounding good all round, particularly feeling The Strength and its metallic wubs
Keep up the good work sir!

Yeah sounding good! Can imagine they'd sound huuuuuge on the right systim!
Been trying to emulate something similar to the bass sound you got in 'The Strength' recently but not managed it. Got other nice sounding things along the way but not achieved my goal. Any tips on that one?

sounding pretty fucking massive mate!
everything sounds really bright on my system - well done!
perhaps to improve try and use a bit more automation on the bassline and possibly have some vocals samples layered over the top.
also maybe a little more variation in the actual song? as in different parts and stuff..
definitely thought that the Hammer Replica track was the stronger of the two.. what software you using? Massive?

Hammer replica is sick
Realy liking the rave feel of it
reminds me of some mad acid party

Thanks for all the feeback guys! Really appreciate it!
I'm using FL studio with a tonne of free VSTs and a few of the bigger ones
Get what you're saying bout the structures of them, think that's where I struggle most, get a sick 16 bar riff going, and then can't think of where to take it... Defo needs more variations, getting better though, learning a lot of automation techniques and coming up with some cool sounds for fills etc.
Got 2 weeks off work, so should have a few new tracks done soon I hope!
Thanks again!
Alan
