I know it might be a bit arch, a bit girly or even too 'indie' for some of you out there, but I've been listening to "Smash The System" this weekend and some of it has really blown me away. "Carnt Sleep" is some deep dark dubby shit that I think might sound way cool in a set, and their version of "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" is mindblowing obviously. I'm curious, anyone else feeling it?

haha yes lol! not a name I expected to see on here! I played Weatherall's remix of "only love..." on Friday night and I also found a chemical brothers remix of one of their tunes back when they were still called the dust brothers. yeah dubbed out stuff for sure and i read in one week to live paper they still going strong!!!

they remixed a tune by japanese popsters Pizzicato 5 which I seem to remember was madly dubby and pretty good.

Loved them back in the day - should really check out their stuff again.
