Am proud to announce the official lauching of this brand new SUB NERDS project !!!
The love of the bass put together this crew from Brussels . The selektah is Dj Bun Zero, Mr Jo plays the harmonica et 1PossMc is into toasting/mc/singing. The Sub Nerds exude beats from Dubstep, Uk Garage, Grime, UKSteppa Dub, even allowing themselves to add some Roots Reggea vibes to it. Band based on dj tracks or Dj set backed up by musicians, the crew of variable forms is definitly open to new collaborations. Bun Zero will bring beats made of electronics while Mr Jo handles his plenty of pedals (live) and let his harmonica bring the bluesy reggea dub influences. 1poss, charismatic stage performer, accurate funk singer, will let his flows take you high. You may now get low with the sub nerds.

BUN ZER0
Bun has been working as DJ over fifteen years now. He set the focus on Dubstep since it all began, around 2002, when he discovered Horsepower Productions. He actually appreciates all kinds of Uk 140bpm sub bass music. He is known as a pioneer of the movement here, having set up the first Dubstep parties since 2006 in places like Beurschouwburg. He’s hosting a radio show every Thursday broadcasted on the English station http://www.subfm.com It’s called « Fresh Off the Boat ». The show has been rewarded with « best radio show » by the dubstep forum and Bun won best international dj, the same year. http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=12641 In 2007 the FOB show was the second in the dubstep radio show category, worldwide http://bunzer0.blogspot.com/2008/01/dub ... -2007.html This selektah stands as a main figure of international dubstep, from eastern to western europe and in the US also. 1poss was an Mc in a hip-hop crew in Brussels. After several years of rapping, he created The Peas project along with nine other funk freaks, in 2003. The next , Dj Mellow from the « FWF » crew joined the team. That’s how he met BunZ, Red Ant, Mr Jo and Protesta. 1poss took part in the Future World Funk business in 2005 and started toasting in parties across the country. It’s been ten years since the first time Mr Jo blew his harmonica. He’s into Brussels soundsystems since 2000, spicing up roots reggea, dub, breaks, d&b and dubstep with his bluesy feeling. He’s been part of crews such as FWF, One Earth Sound, Nyabinghi International Soundsystem, Ashanti3000, Digital Nooba, FOB. Also some other live acts : Yassa Connection, Booya Bass. Jo is involved in the Belgian independant label Aeclectrick Records. http://www.aeclectrick.be http://www.myspace.com/aeclectrickHe plays in afro reggae band Jupiter & Massive 5 and in Jupiter Diop’s project Lamp Fall Sarafina. In February 2008, Jupiter & the Massive 5 went on tour through Senegal. http://www.myspace.com/jupitermassive5 http://www.myspace.com/lampfallsarafina That’s how Mr Jo got to represent the sub bass culture not only through the land but also across Europe and in Africa.
