raw raw raw roar.
has anybody else copped this? i honestly can't say that there's much that's sonically progressive or innovative about this, but every now and then a tune comes along that monkeys about with you serious and this is the one.

agreed, but that's not a bad thing in my eyes. in the world of over-produced, super-slick but ultimately pedestrian tunes that we live in this is a breath of fresh air

apparently it's been doing the rounds on internet forums which is what gave it the publicity outside of south africa that resulted in its release, but this is the first i've heard of it
it's shit to think that there's probably loads more stuff like this in pretoria that we're never going to get a chance to hear

That's pretty unlikely in this era.

Unsure about this one, i love the drums and the rough style, but the synth sounds like it is almost about to do something awesome and then ends up looping again. Although having said that it's just got lodged in my head and is going round and round, so maybe i do like it.
And the girl in the video is kinda cute
Interesting if this is a few years old, pretty much predated all the wonky business we got now in dubstep and hip hop.

erm, there's quite a lot of stuff like this around. it's just that most of it was made about 15+ years ago.
