Liking the feel of the small drums vs. the huge bass. Good stuff.
Might be a bit off topic but "My Fallen Soldier" gets close to being a bit distasteful doesnt it? Just my feelings the first time I heard it, maybe i'm being sensitive. There's something about using the term "fallen soldier" to describe a kid being stabbed/shot that doesn't sit well with me.

The term fallen soldier is something that i didn't coin myself. It was used by the boys friends. This was recorded by the press in the article that I originally read. When using that phrase in the song itself it comes from the perspective of the boys mother. I'm not sure where your distaste is routed as, for me, this was a powerful way to show my support for him, his family and the whole issue of stabbings in London and the UK.

It is great that you're showing support mate. I suppose what I mean is that even if it the mother saying "Fallen Soldier", it is that view of victims of crime which contributes to the vicious circle. Part of the problem is this term / similar "martyr" type references being used when something so tragic happens. Didn't mean to derail the topic!

I personally used that term to bring a emotional awareness to the subject. I do understand your point and I also think it's valid but, when writing anything about a controversial subject you might say or do something to offend people but I am perfectly happy with my moral choices, on the subject, when writing this song.
I'm glad I've provoked some thought around this subject.

All these comments aren't even about the new track that I posted. Can someone clean this thread up?

i love the progression vibe of the song,
the melody that comes up in the second part is very atmospheric and creates a nice atmosphere! would love to have a 320!
