Is there one for dubstep? There should be! Perhaps we could ask the RDB guys if they're up for adding dubstep on there?

I spoke to DJ Cob on DOA about doing dubstep releases for Rolldabeats.com a while back. I've been a bit too busy recently but I'm sure it wouldn't take too long to sort out a decent list of releases.

i would love to have more dubstep on there as well. have to admit it completely new to me, but i do feel the genre fits right in there. because my knowledge of dubstep is close to nothing, all that has been added are the releases i find every now and then on the pages of st holdings. what i would need if some of you dubstep experts to figure out what is missing and posting that info on the rdb forums. one could also send the information by email.

once again i would love to add the dubstep releases, but need the complete info on what is missing in order to do so...

this forum will have it's own discography section. we've been working on formats like a pdf, or excel spreadsheet. it's leaning towards a searchable pdf format. i can't stress this enough though.....please do not just attempt your own go at a discography, and then forward it to rolldabeats. contact the labels and do it the right way the first time out, as we've been doing. our version will also have a unreleased/rare section for all the tunes that've appeared only as cdr's.
let's not take a good idea and bang through it without doing the homework. discogs is notorious for gaps and errors. this forum's version will take more time to finish , so if rolldabeats wants to join the party then welcome.

Rolldabeats are really good at making sure the information is accuarate, cat nos are checked on the physical vinyl etc. If they want to branch out I think its cool.

:D: plus anything that is incorrect can be corrected with a simple post in the rolldabeats forum. Likewise anything that's missing can be added in the same way.

Rolldabeats is currently widening its scope to cover other musical forms... first up, dubstep...

Labels added so far include DMZ, Tempa, Hyperdub and more.

If there's any information that is missing, please feel free to submit it via our forums at www.rolldabeats.com/forum
