Alright ppl,

Im interested in starting to learn how to mix, and my fav type of music is dubstep. Id also want to mix DnB and a bit of trancy stuff.

I would like to mix via cd players rather than vinyl, and was wondering what features would be good to have to mix dubstep.

I am new to mixing etc and am looking to buy the equipment and am looking to spend around 350 pound on the cd players and mixer.

Is there anything anyone could reccomend that would be good for my requirements and that would last a while?

any help would b appreciated.

I dno about CDJs but £350 aint an awful lot

your best just getting second hand technics 1210s (vinyl decks), and then maybe buying serato scratch LIVE for a laptop in the near future if you decide you want to take it up technics keep the value aswell

you won't get much for £350 and you won't find much unmixed Dubstep on CD at the mo either.

For that amount of money, you can get some cheap second-hand CD players and a cheap mixer. Which is fine, if you're just starting, but eventually you WILL have to upgrade.

I would recommend vinyl+serato as mentioned above. That will allow you to use digital audio as well as vinyl. The downside is that it is a lot more expensive: you will need to buy the Serato hardware, in addition to the mixer and two turntables. And, if your laptop isn't good enough (or if you don't have a laptop), you'll need to get that too.

You can get Pioneer CDJ800 for about 350 pound EACH.

fuck cd, you aint gonna get shit for that price, its all about vinyl
